Crosswalk
Also known as: pedestrian crossing, zebra crossing, marked crosswalk, unmarked crosswalk
The portion of a roadway designated for pedestrians to cross from one side to the other. A crosswalk exists at any intersection whether or not it is painted, and pedestrians in either a marked or unmarked crosswalk have the right-of-way over turning vehicles.
