Warns of a shared crossing where pedestrians and bicyclists may enter the roadway.

Used at locations where a sidepath, multi-use trail, or marked crosswalk brings both walkers and riders across the road at the same point. Slow down, scan both shoulders, and be ready to yield. The fluorescent yellow-green background is the MUTCD-preferred color for non-motorist warnings because it stands out against backgrounds in low-light and dawn/dusk conditions.
