Curve Left

Warns that the road ahead curves to the left and that drivers should adjust speed before entering the curve.

Posted in advance of a roadway curve to the left that is gentler than a turn but still requires a reduced approach speed. Begin slowing before the curve, keep to your lane, and watch for oncoming traffic that may drift wide. The smooth arrow distinguishes a curve from the right-angle bend warned by the W1-1 series.
