Crosswalk Stop On Red

At this pedestrian-activated signal, stop on red and remain stopped while pedestrians cross.

Used with pedestrian hybrid beacons and other pedestrian-actuated crossing signals to instruct drivers that a steady red indication requires a full stop, just as at a conventional traffic signal, even though the beacon is dark when not activated. The red dot keys the legend to the displayed indication.
