State Law Yield To Pedestrian In Crosswalk (In-Street)

In-roadway reminder that state law requires drivers to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.

Mounted on a flexible base in the centerline or lane line at an unsignalized crosswalk, this in-street panel reinforces the state's yield-to-pedestrian law right at the point of conflict. The yellow background flags it as a pedestrian-warning context, while the embedded yield symbol and STATE LAW legend make the legal obligation explicit. Some jurisdictions use an R1-6a variant with STOP in place of YIELD where law requires a full stop.
