Cross Only At Crosswalks

Pedestrians must cross the street only at marked or designated crosswalks.

Posted in areas where mid-block crossing is unsafe or prohibited, this directs pedestrians to use the nearest crosswalk to cross the roadway. Crossing elsewhere may be a violation and exposes pedestrians to traffic hazards.
