Keep Left (of Obstruction)

Pass to the left of the divider, island, or obstruction shown ahead.

Mounted on or in advance of a median, island, or fixed object that must be passed on the left, this regulation tells drivers which side to take. The curved upward arrow on the left and the vertical bar to its right show the required path. Frequently used on one-way frontage roads, ramps, and channelized intersections where staying on the wrong side would put a driver into oncoming traffic or a barrier.
