Keep Right (of Obstruction)

Pass to the right of the divider, island, or obstruction shown ahead.

Posted on or just before a median nose, raised island, or fixed obstruction in the roadway, this regulation directs traffic to bear to the right of the object. The curved arrow showing the path around the obstacle and the vertical bar to its left make the required side-of-passage unmistakable. Common at the start of a divided section, channelizing island, or barrier-protected work zone.
