Slower Traffic Keep Right

Vehicles moving slower than the prevailing flow should travel in the right-hand lane.

On multi-lane roads, drivers traveling below the speed of surrounding traffic must use the right-hand lane and reserve the left lane for faster-moving and passing vehicles. The rule keeps traffic flowing smoothly and reduces unsafe passing on the right.
