Toll Pass Only

Lane is reserved for vehicles equipped with a registered electronic toll pass transponder.

Only vehicles equipped with a valid electronic toll pass transponder (such as E-ZPass, SunPass, FasTrak, or a state equivalent) may use this lane. Drivers without a working transponder must choose a cash or pay-by-plate lane to avoid a toll violation. The MUTCD adopted purple as the standard background color for signs and pavement markings that designate electronic toll collection facilities, distinguishing them at a glance from general-purpose and HOV lanes.
