Lights On When Raining

Headlights must be turned on whenever it is raining.

Posted in states whose statutes require headlight use during rain regardless of wiper status. The placard reminds drivers to switch on low-beam headlights as soon as precipitation begins so other vehicles can see them through the spray and reduced contrast.
