State Law: Move Over Or Reduce Speed

State law requires moving over or slowing down for vehicles stopped on the shoulder.

Reinforces the state's Move Over law, which protects emergency, utility, and disabled vehicles stopped on the shoulder. Drivers must change to a non-adjacent lane when safe; if they cannot, they must reduce speed below the posted limit while passing.
