Weight Limit Per Axle And Gross

Posts the maximum allowed axle weight and total gross weight for this road or bridge.

Identifies the maximum legal load for vehicles using the posted roadway or structure, expressed both as a per-axle limit and as a total gross-vehicle limit. Trucks exceeding either figure must use an alternate route. Common on lower-rated bridges and locally maintained roads.
