Push Button For 2 Seconds For Extra Crossing Time

Hold the button two seconds to receive an extended pedestrian Walk interval.

Used at accessible pedestrian signals, this placard explains that holding the call button for two seconds requests an extended crossing interval. The longer Walk and clearance phases give older pedestrians, children, and people with mobility limitations enough time to finish crossing.
