1 Vehicle Per Green Each Lane

Only one vehicle in each lane may proceed during each green signal.

Used at multi-lane ramp meters, this placard tells drivers that the metering signal releases a single vehicle from each lane during every green flash. Each driver must wait for their own green even if an adjacent lane has just released, which paces traffic entering the freeway.
