One Vehicle Per Green

Only one vehicle may proceed during each green indication of the signal.

Posted at metered ramps or special intersections, this placard limits the through movement to a single vehicle for each green signal cycle. Drivers must stop at the line and wait for their own green even when the vehicle ahead has just gone, which staggers entry into the controlled flow.
