Turning Vehicles Yield to Pedestrians (Left)

Left-turning drivers must yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk.

Posted at signalized intersections where left turns cross a marked crosswalk, this placard reminds drivers that pedestrians have the right of way during the permissive turn phase. Wait for walkers to clear the crossing path before completing the turn, even on a green light.
