Left Turn Yield on Green

Left-turning drivers on a circular green must yield to oncoming traffic before turning.

When the signal shows a solid green ball, left turns are permitted but drivers must wait for a safe gap in oncoming traffic before completing the turn. A protected green arrow, when shown, allows left turns without yielding; this placard governs the permissive phase only.
