Left Lane Signal

The left lane is controlled by a separate signal indication; obey the dedicated left-lane signal.

Posted where the left lane has its own signal head, typically a protected left-turn arrow or a separate phase distinct from the through movement. Drivers in the left lane must follow that lane's indication rather than the through-lane signal.
