Solid White Lane Line

Solid white line between same-direction lanes; discourages lane changes through the marked area.

A solid white line separates lanes of traffic moving in the same direction where lane changes are discouraged, such as approaches to intersections, exit and entrance ramp gores, and managed-lane buffers.
