The traps in the wrong answers
A. Toward the curb
Toward the curb is the downhill rule. Uphill against a curb, the wheels must face away so a rollback lodges against the curb instead of rolling into traffic. Applies the downhill 'wheels toward the curb' rule without flipping the direction the manual reverses for the uphill case.
B. Straight ahead
Straight wheels give the curb nothing to catch if the parking brake slips. Treats a curbed hill park like a level-ground park and skips the wheel-turn step the manual requires on slopes.
C. Slightly angled toward the curb
The manual sets a definite direction based on where the curb sits, not a partial angle, and toward the curb is the downhill rule rather than the uphill one. Applies the downhill direction and softens it into a partial angle, hedging against picking either hill rule outright.
