Left Lane Ends

The left travel lane ends ahead; left-lane traffic must merge right before the lane drops.

Advance warning that the left lane terminates downstream. Drivers in the left lane should signal, check the right lane for a gap, and merge before the lane ends. Drivers in the right lane should expect merging vehicles and adjust spacing to allow a safe merge.
