Slippery When Wet

The road surface ahead becomes slippery when wet; reduce speed and avoid sudden moves.

The pavement loses traction in rain, snow, or ice, especially on the first few minutes of rainfall when oil rises to the surface. Ease off the accelerator, increase following distance, and avoid hard braking, sharp steering, or quick lane changes.
