Fog Area

Fog is common ahead; reduce speed, turn on low-beam headlights, and increase following distance.

Drivers are entering a stretch of road where fog frequently reduces visibility. Slow down before sight distance drops, switch to low-beam headlights (high beams reflect off the moisture and worsen glare), and leave extra space to the vehicle ahead. If visibility becomes severely limited, pull completely off the roadway and turn on hazard flashers.
