Road May Flood

The roadway ahead is prone to flooding; check for standing water and do not drive into water of unknown depth.

Posted on low spots, dips, and known flash-flood crossings. After heavy rain, even a few inches of moving water can sweep a vehicle off the road. Slow before the dip, scan for water on the pavement, and turn around rather than attempt a flooded crossing; gauge depth at the curb or any reference markers before proceeding when conditions appear safe.
