Oncoming Traffic May Have Extended Green

Oncoming traffic may get a longer green; never assume they will stop.

An adaptive or actuated signal can grant the opposing direction a longer green than yours, so drivers turning left across opposing lanes should never assume the oncoming flow is about to stop. Yield until you have a clear gap or a protected green arrow.
