When Flashing (Plaque)

The warning or restriction on the sign above applies only while the attached beacon is flashing.

This plaque is mounted below a warning sign equipped with a flashing beacon to indicate that the condition called out (a school zone speed limit, a curve speed advisory, a wildlife crossing, or similar) is in effect only while the beacon is active. When the beacon is dark, the underlying restriction does not apply, although ordinary care is still required.
