No Passing Zone

Marks the start of a no-passing zone on a two-lane highway; do not cross to pass.

Posted on the left side of the road at the beginning of a no-passing zone, this pennant warns drivers (especially those already overtaking) that they must complete any pass and return to the right lane before this point. Beyond it, crossing the centerline to pass is prohibited.
