Advisory Speed Plaque

Recommended safe speed for the upcoming condition is 35 mph.

Mounted below a curve, turn, or other warning sign, this plaque tells drivers the speed at which the hazard ahead can be comfortably negotiated. It is advisory rather than a posted limit, but exceeding it through a sharp curve, ramp, or grade greatly increases the risk of a run-off-road or rollover crash.
