No Train Horn

Trains do not sound a horn when approaching the upcoming crossing.

The crossing ahead is part of a quiet zone where engineers are not required to sound the train horn on approach. Do not rely on hearing a horn; look carefully in both directions, expect active warning devices to be your only audible cue, and be prepared to stop for trains.
