Exit Gore Sign With Exit Number

The gore sign version that also carries the exit number, used wherever exits are numbered.

Where a highway numbers its exits, the gore sign shows EXIT and the number together, so the ramp you are entering is identified at the moment you enter it. This is the sign to check against written directions that name an exit number. The arrow still marks the physical point where the ramp separates from the through lanes.
