Rest Area Advance
A rest area is coming up in the distance shown.
This advance sign gives you the distance to the next rest area so you can decide whether to stop. Rest areas provide parking, restrooms, and drinking water away from the travel lanes. The same sign design carries alternate legends such as PARKING AREA, PICNIC AREA, SCENIC VIEW, or SCENIC OVERLOOK depending on what the roadside area offers.
