Accessible Parking Symbol

Parking space reserved for vehicles displaying a valid disability placard or plate.

The International Symbol of Accessibility (a white wheelchair figure on a blue background) is painted on the pavement of parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities. Only vehicles displaying a valid disability placard or license plate, with the qualified person being transported, may park in these spaces. Unauthorized use is subject to substantial fines and may result in towing.
