Florida sets the mirror standard at a 200-foot rear view; 1,000 feet is not the mirror figure at all. This answer carries the 1,000-foot taillight and headlight visibility figure over from adjacent rows on the same equipment table.
D. Two outside mirrors plus one inside mirror on every vehicle
Only one rear-view mirror is required; a second outside mirror applies when the rear window is blocked or non-transparent. This answer reads the covered-rear-window exception, drilled into commercial-vehicle drivers, as the baseline rule for every passenger car.
