C. Class B
Class B is not the class the manual excepts from Phase One. Extends the heavier-vehicle instinct one class down, guessing that a 26,001-lb. GVWR single-vehicle rating is what triggers the six-month holding period.
D. Class C
Class C is the everyday passenger-car license, and Phase One does apply to it. Reaches for the passenger-car license the learner is studying for instead of the class the manual actually excepts one line later.
