Oil and Chipping Ahead

A chip-seal pavement operation is underway on the road ahead.

Crews are applying a liquid-asphalt-and-stone surface treatment along the road ahead. Expect loose aggregate, reduced traction, work vehicles entering and leaving the lane, and possibly flaggers controlling traffic. Slow down well before the work area and leave extra following distance to avoid windshield damage from flying chips.
