Bicycle Detour Left / Pedestrian Detour Right

Cyclists detour to the left, pedestrians detour to the right around the work zone.

An NYC DOT work-zone wayfinding panel that splits non-motorized traffic around a closure. The bicycle pictogram and an upper-left diagonal arrow direct cyclists onto the left-hand detour; the pedestrian pictogram and an upper-right diagonal arrow send walkers to the right. Riders should dismount or follow posted bike-lane routing as instructed.
