Single Lane

The roadway narrows to a single lane ahead through the work zone.

Warns that multiple lanes are about to merge into one through a construction or maintenance area. Drivers should merge in turn, slow to the posted work-zone speed, and stay alert for sudden stops, workers, or equipment in the closed-off space. Expect delays during peak traffic.
