Rumble Strips Ahead

Rumble strips are placed in the roadway ahead; expect noise and vibration.

Transverse rumble strips are installed in the travel lane ahead, often as an alert before a stop or a work zone. Expect a sudden buzz and vibration as you cross them and do not swerve to avoid them.
