Bump (Work Zone)

A sharp rise in pavement lies ahead in the work zone; slow down before crossing.

A short, abrupt rise in the pavement is ahead through the construction area, sometimes from a temporary patch, plate, or pavement transition. Reduce speed before reaching the bump to keep the vehicle stable and protect cargo, suspension, and following traffic from sudden jolts.
