Right Shoulder Closed

The right shoulder is closed ahead; do not stop or drive on it.

The right shoulder is closed for work or other reasons, so it cannot be used for stopping, disabled vehicles, or as a travel lane. Stay in the through lanes, allow extra room for workers or equipment near the edge of the road, and plan ahead for any emergency stops.
