One Lane Road 1000 Ft

The roadway narrows to a single shared lane about 1,000 feet ahead with two-way traffic alternating.

About 1,000 feet ahead the road narrows to one lane that must be shared by traffic in both directions, often through a work zone or temporary closure. Slow down and be prepared to yield or stop for oncoming vehicles, flaggers, or temporary signals controlling the alternating flow.
