The traps in the wrong answers

Speeding up to obstruct a pass is unsafe and contrary to the manual's rule. Misreading: Treats 'adjust your speed' as license to block the pass rather than help the other vehicle complete it.
C. Flash your high beams to indicate the road ahead is clear.
The manual says Oregon law prohibits flashing your signals at drivers to let them know when to pass. Misreading: Confuses helping a pass with signaling by lights, which the manual specifically forbids.
D. Move onto the shoulder so the passer can use your lane.
The manual says stay to the right within your lane; the shoulder is not a travel lane. Misreading: Confuses 'stay to the right' inside your lane with leaving the lane to use the shoulder.
