This answer confuses the transverse stop line with the crosswalk-yield rule the manual describes in the same Highway Markings section, which drivers routinely half-remember as 'only stop when someone is crossing.'

A stop line requires a full stop before entering the intersection, not just a yield to right-hand traffic. This answer substitutes the yield-to-the-driver-on-your-right rule the manual gives for uncontrolled intersections, where no pavement marking directs traffic and the vehicle on the right usually goes first.
