Green signs along the highway tell drivers:
-
A.
About services such as food and lodging
-
B.
About parks and recreation areas
-
C.
About distances to upcoming destinations Correct
-
D.
About construction or maintenance work
The answer is "About distances to upcoming destinations"
Green guide signs tell you where you are, which way to go, and the distance to upcoming destinations. A reader who thinks of the blue food-and-gas panels picks A, blending two guide-sign colors that carry different jobs.
The traps in the wrong answers
A. About services such as food and lodging
Services like food, gas, and lodging appear on blue signs. This answer mixes two guide-sign colors that sit side by side in the color chart.
B. About parks and recreation areas
Parks and recreation destinations show up on brown signs. This answer reads a natural-looking outdoor color into any leafy destination.
D. About construction or maintenance work
Construction and maintenance zones are flagged in orange, not green. This answer treats every roadside color as a warning color rather than a guide one.
