Implied consent
A legal doctrine under which any driver licensed in a state is deemed to have consented to a chemical test (breath, blood, or urine) for blood-alcohol concentration if a peace officer suspects DUI. Refusing the test triggers automatic license suspension separate from any criminal DUI consequences.
