Following behind is a separate tailgating concern, not the wide-right-turn hazard the manual describes. This answer confuses the No Zone behind a truck with the specific curb-side pinch created by a wide right turn.
D. In the lane to the left of the truck.
The truck is swinging into that space to complete its turn, but the manual's warning names the curb side. This answer picks the side the truck swings into because it feels like the more obvious collision path.
